This was for my Senior project. I was given the freedom to choose my own project and own direction. I wanted to create a cohesive brand identity for a beer. I am very fond of the Adirondack mountains so Saranac appealed to me.

Saranac Untamed Branding - For my senior project I decided to create a series of beers that Saranac will release called Untamed. Untamed is all natural and 100% organic and comes in an ale, a stout, and a Lager. I created logos, labels, packaging, and advertising for the fictional product. My goal of this project was to communicate that this natural beer is as wild as the place it comes from; The Adirondack Mountains. The bear, coyote and mountain lion represent the wildlife of the Adirondacks, and the treatment of the illustrations give them an intense "sport like" feel.

Many people outside New York are shocked to hear that there is more to the State than NYC, especially mountains and countryside. I wanted to shed light on the subject. I documented a trip my family and I took to the High Peaks of the Adirondacks. The trip's itinerary included; snow shoeing, skeet shoot, target practice, snowmobiling, ice fishing, hiking, sledding, and of course lots of eatin' and drinkin'. We're not all city slickers...
